Vehicle Speed Sensor (Metro)

Disconnect battery. Remove instrument cluster. Connect ohmmeter between "GND" screw and "RSW" screw of combination meter. See Fig 1 . Turn cable joint of speedometer with a screwdriver. Ohmmeter should vary between infinite and zero ohms of resistance 4 times for every one revolution of speedometer cable joint.
