Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

Removing ECM:

CAUTION: ECM consists of precision parts, be careful not to expose it to excessive shock.

REMOVAL:

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect connectors from ECM while releasing connector lock.
3. Remove ECM with cover, loosening two screws.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install ECM with cover.
2. Connect connectors to ECM securely.
3. Connect negative battery cable.
