Checking Fluid Level


1. Drive vehicle for approximately 15 minutes to bring fluid up to normal operating temperature.
2. With vehicle on level surface, apply parking brake and block drive wheels.
3. With selector lever in Park, start engine, then move selector lever through each range and return to Park.
4. Remove dipstick and check fluid level.
5. Fluid level should be between the two ``HOT'' marks on dipstick.
6. Add fluid as required to bring fluid to specified level. When adding fluid use only Dexron II type transaxle fluid or equivalent.
