Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

NOTE: Care must be used when handling coolant temperature sensor. Damage to coolant temperature sensor will affect proper operation of the fuel injection system.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT:

1. Relieve coolant system pressure.
2. Ignition "OFF."
3. Air cleaner assembly.
4. Electrical connector.
5. CTS from throttle body.

INSTALL OR CONNECT:

1. Coat thread of CTS with sealer P/N 9985253 or equivalent.
2. Tighten CTS. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS.
3. Electrical connector.
4. Air cleaner assembly.
5. Replenish coolant system to proper level.
