Combination Switch: Removal
- Remove steering wheel. See STEERING WHEEL & HORN PAD
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove lower switch panel, dash lighter panel and hood release panel.
- Remove lower dash trim panel. Remove upper mounting bolts from steering column. Lower steering column. Remove steering column covers.
- Disconnect SIR coil and combination switch wiring. Place reference mark on SIR coil and steering shaft for reassembly reference.
- Remove SIR coil-to-combination switch screws and remove SIR coil. See Figure
. Remove combination switch retaining screws and combination switch.
