Rectifier Test
- Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between each upper and lower rectifier bodies and each diode leads. Perform STEP 1. See Fig 1. Check for continuity in both directions by reversing ohmmeter leads. Continuity should only exist in one direction. If continuity exists in both directions or neither direction, replace rectifier.
- Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between diode trio leads. Perform STEP 2. See Fig 1. Continuity should only exist in one direction.
