Ignition Switch/Steering Lock: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. If lock cylinder was removed, place ignition switch in ACC position and install switch in steering lock housing. Ensure lock cylinder is fully seated.
- Install new shear bolts in steering lock assembly. Tighten shear bolts until heads break off bolts. Turn ignition on. Ensure steering shaft rotates smoothly. Install steering column. Activate SIR system.
