WARNING:
On Prizm with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), disable system before attempting steering column service. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING SRS
. DO NOT
apply electrical power to any component on steering column without disabling SRS. Use caution when working around steering column (air bag could deploy).
WARNING:
When moving or carrying air bag module, ensure outward side (pad surface area) is away from you. DO NOT
store air bag module pad side down. Accidental deployment could cause serious injury. Store air bag module with pad surface upward and away from work area. DO NOT
disassemble or tamper with air bag module.
