Injector (TBI): Installation

  1. Apply a thin coat of oil to NEW upper and lower injector "O" rings. Install "O" rings on injector. Install NEW lower injector insulator into injector cavity. Insert injector straight down into throttle body. DO NOT twist injector. Carefully install injector wiring harness grommet to housing.
  2. Install injector cover, and tighten mounting screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Pressurize fuel system and check for leaks.
