Wipers Do Not Operate With Wiper/Washer Switch In Any Position

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using a test light, backprobe between combination switch connector terminal No. 18 (Blue/White wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, check for open in Blue wire between junction block No. 1 and combination switch. If wire is okay, replace junction block No. 1.
  2. Using voltmeter, backprobe between combination switch connector terminal No. 7 (Blue/Black wire) and ground. Move wiper/washer switch to LO position and measure voltage. If voltage is 10 volts or more, check for open in White/Black wire between wiper motor and ground. If wire is okay, replace wiper motor. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace combination switch.
