Wipers Operate At Low Speed With Wiper/Washer Switch In HI Position

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, backprobe between wiper motor connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Orange wire) and ground. Set wiper/washer switch to HI position. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or more, replace wiper motor.
  2. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect combination switch Black 20-pin connector and wiper motor connector. Using an ohmmeter, backprobe between combination switch Black 20-pin connector terminal No. 13 (Blue/Orange wire) and wiper motor connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Orange wire). If resistance is less than 5.0 ohms, replace combination switch. If resistance is 5.0 ohms or more, check for open in Blue/Orange wire between combination switch and wiper motor. If wire is okay, replace wiper motor.
