Wipers Operate At Low Speed With Wiper/Washer Switch In HI Position
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, backprobe between wiper motor connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Orange wire) and ground. Set wiper/washer switch to HI position. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or more, replace wiper motor.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect combination switch Black 20-pin connector and wiper motor connector. Using an ohmmeter, backprobe between combination switch Black 20-pin connector terminal No. 13 (Blue/Orange wire) and wiper motor connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Orange wire). If resistance is less than 5.0 ohms, replace combination switch. If resistance is 5.0 ohms or more, check for open in Blue/Orange wire between combination switch and wiper motor. If wire is okay, replace wiper motor.
