Driver-Side Air Bag Inflator Module: Installation

1. Inspect air bag inflator module for cracked deployment cover, damaged harness or evidence of physical damage (module dropped etc.).
2. Fit inflator module on steering wheel and install mounting bolts. Ensure inflator module is aligned. Route inflator module harness neatly on back of module. See Fig 1. Tighten air bag inflator module bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect 2 horn wire connectors. Reconnect negative battery cable. Enable air bag system.
