Circuit Description

When driving uphill with cruise control engaged, PCM may signal transaxle to downshift from overdrive to 3rd gear. PCM signals cruise control module when downshift occurs. To reduce gear hunting and provide smoother driving, cruise control module sends signal to PCM to delay overdrive upshift until vehicle has reached end of grade.
