Wipers Continue To Operate With Wiper/Washer Switch In OFF Position
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using test light, backprobe between wiper motor connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Orange wire) and ground. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, check for short to battery voltage in Blue/Orange wire between combination switch and wiper motor. If circuit is okay, replace combination switch.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Connect test light between wiper motor harness connector terminal No. 3 (Blue/Black wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, replace combination switch. If test light does not illuminate, replace wiper motor.
