Wipers Operate At Low Speed With Wiper/Washer Switch In HI Position (Models With Intermittent Wiper System)
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using voltmeter, backprobe between wiper motor connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Orange wire) and ground. Set wiper/washer switch to HI position. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace wiper motor.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect combination switch Black 20-pin connector and wiper motor connector. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between combination switch Black 20-pin harness connector terminal No. 13 (Blue/Orange wire) and wiper motor harness connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Orange wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace combination switch. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check for open in Blue/Orange wire between combination switch and wiper motor. If circuit is okay, replace wiper motor.
