Main Control

ABS control unit calculates wheel speed based on signals received from wheel sensors. ABS control unit determines vehicle speed during deceleration based on rate of deceleration. ABS control unit calculates slip rate of each wheel. When slip rate is too high, ABS control unit transmits a control signal to modulator unit. Modulator unit controls slip rate by increasing, maintaining or decreasing brake fluid pressure at individual wheels.
