SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ) and PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) before performing repairs or service.

The passenger's weight sensor unit must be calibrated after any of these actions (see PASSENGER'S WEIGHT SENSOR UNIT OPERATION CHECK ):
- Replacement of the seat weight sensors
- Replacement of the seat weight sensor unit

NOTE:

Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Make sure the bushing and pivot washer are installed correctly.
Apply multipurpose grease to the moving portion of the seat track.
To prevent wrinkles in the seat-back cover, stretch the material evenly over the pad.
Adjust the connecting cable as necessary.
Make sure the connecting cable is connected properly.
