Mode Control Motor Replacement: Notes

- Set the mode control dial on DEF with the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Remove the driver's heater outlet.
- Disconnect the 7P connector (A) from the mode control motor (B). Remove the rods (C) from the mode control linkage (D). Remove the self-tapping screws and the mode control motor from the heater unit.
- Install the motor in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the pin on the linkage is properly engaged with the motor. After installation, make sure the motor runs smoothly.
