VSA OFF Switch Test

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2009 Honda S2000, 2008 Honda S2000, 2007 Honda S2000, and 2006 Honda S2000. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  2. Remove the instrument panel (see INSTRUMENT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Remove the VSA OFF switch (A) by pushing from the back side of the instrument panel.

  4. Check for continuity between VSA OFF switch 6P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 6. There should be continuity when the button is pressed, and no continuity when the button is released.

  5. Check for continuity between VSA OFF switch 6P connector terminals No. 2 and No. 3. There should be continuity at all times.

  6. Install the VSA OFF switch in the reverse order of removal.
