DTC P0134: A/F Sensor (Sensor 1) Signal Stuck Lean
- Check the A/F sensor (Sensor 1) in the exhaust pipe.
Is it loose?
- YES - Reinstall the A/F sensor (Sensor 1) (see A/F Sensor Replacement ).
- NO - Go to step 2.
- Reset the ECM/PCM (see HOW TO RESET THE ECM/PCM ).
- Start the engine. Hold the engine at 3,000 RPM with no load (in Park or neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle for 2 minutes.
Is DTC P0134 indicated?
- YES - Replace the A/F sensor (Sensor 1) (see A/F Sensor Replacement ).
- NO - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the A/F sensor (Sensor 1) and the ECM/PCM.
