CONNECTOR TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

Cavity Wire color Terminal name Description Signal
1 PNK/BLU M-HOT Drives air mix control motor to HOT With ignition switch is in ON (II) and air mix control motor moving to HOT: battery voltage
2 GRN M-COOL Drives air mix control motor to COOL With ignition switch is in ON (II) and air mix control motor moving to COOL: battery voltage
3 BLK/YEL IG2 IG2 power source With ignition switch is in ON (II): battery voltage
4 BLK GND Ground for heater control panel (G501) Less than 0.5 V at all times
5 GRN/WHT FRS Drives recirculation control motor to FRESH With ignition switch is in ON (II) and recirculation control motor moving to FRESH: about 0 V
6 GRN/YEL REC Drives recirculation control motor to REC With ignition switch is in ON (II) and recirculation control motor moving to REC: about 0 V
7 BLU ACS Outputs A/C on/off signal With ignition switch is in ON (II), A/C pressure switch closed, and A/C request OFF: battery voltage. When A/C request switches ON, voltage changes to about 0 V
8 WHT/BLU MODE3 Inputs mode motor signal With ignition switch is in ON (II): about 5 V or about 0 V, depending upon mode
9 RED/YEL MODE2 Inputs mode motor signal With ignition switch is in ON (II): about 5 V or about 0 V, depending upon mode
10 RED/BLU MODE1 Inputs mode motor signal With ignition switch is in ON (II): about 5 V or about 0 V, depending upon mode
11 PNK/BLK AMD-P Detects air mix control motor position With ignition switch is in ON (II) and air mix door at HOT: about 4.5 V
With ignition switch is in ON (II) and air mix door at COOL: about 1.5 V
13 LT GRN S-COM Sensor ground Less than 0.5 V at all times
14 GRY S5V Sensor 5 V output With ignition switch is in ON (II): about 5V
15 YEL/RED M-DEF Drives mode control motor to DEF With ignition switch is in ON (II) and mode control motor moving to DEF: battery voltage
16 YEL/BLU M-VENT Drives mode control motor to VENT With ignition switch is in ON (II) and mode control motor moving to VENT: battery voltage
18 BLU/YEL BLW-G Outputs power transistor gate voltage With ignition switch is in ON (II), fan switch to MAX: about 10 V
With ignition switch is in ON (II), fan switch to MIN: about 2 V
19 BLU/RED BLW-V Feedback signal of power transistor drain voltage With ignition switch is in ON (II), fan switch to OFF: about 8 V
20 RED ILL- Detects illumination control signal With ignition switch is in ON (II), dash brightness to MAX: about 0.1 V
With ignition switch is in ON (II), dash brightness to MIN: about 10 V

28 BRN Teva Detects evaporator temperature sensor signal With ignition switch is in ON (II): between 1.0 V and 4.0 V depending on evaporator temperature. About 2.5 V at 72°F (22°C)
