Cruise Control Input Test
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2017 Honda Odyssey, 2016 Honda Odyssey, 2015 Honda Odyssey, 2014 Honda Odyssey, and 2013 Honda Odyssey. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
Always make sure that you have the latest HDS software.
- Connect the HDS to the DLC (see step 2 on HOW TO USE THE HDS (HONDA DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM) ).
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Make sure the HDS communicates with the vehicle and the PCM. If it does not communicate, troubleshoot the DLC circuit (see DLC CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING ).
- Go to PGM-FI, and check for DTCs (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
- Do the following tests while monitoring parameters in the PGM-FI DATA LIST with the HDS.
- If the input tests prove OK, replace the PCM (see
PCM REPLACEMENT
).NOTE: Intermittent failures are often caused by loose circuit connections. While monitoring cruise control inputs, flex the circuit wires, and note if any of the test results change.2011 Model - CRUISE CONTROL INPUT TEST CONDITIONS
