HDMI device does not function

NOTE: Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST ).

Check the HDMI port for dirt or damage.
Does the HDMI port dirt or damage?

YES -Replace the HDMI subharness, and recheck.

NO -Go to step 2.
Check that the rear controller and screen connector C (20P) is properly connected.
Is that connected properly?

YES -Go to step 3.

NO -Repair poor connection and reconnect the connector, and recheck.
Substitute a known-good HDMI main harness and HDMI subharness one at a time, and recheck.
Does the HDMI device operate properly?

YES -Replace the original HDMI main harness or the original HDMI subharness depending on your diagnosis.

NO -Replace the rear controller and screen (see REAR CONTROLLER AND SCREEN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
