Oil Pump Overhaul: Removal

Remove the cam chain (see CAM CHAIN REMOVAL ).
Remove the auto-tensioner, then install the support eyelet.

Install the engine support hanger (AAR-T1256), then attach the hook to the slotted hole in the support eyelet. Tighten the wing nut (A) by hand to lift and support the engine.

Remove the oil pan (see OIL PAN REMOVAL ).
Remove the oil screen (A), then remove the oil pump (B).
