Ignition Coil and Spark Plug Removal/Installation

Remove the cowl cover and the under-cowl panel (see COWL COVER REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the engine cover (see step 1 on REMOVAL ).
Disconnect the ignition coil connectors, then remove the intake side ignition coils (A) and the exhaust side ignition coils (B).

Remove the spark plugs and inspect them (see SPARK PLUG INSPECTION ).
Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the plug threads, and screw the plugs into the cylinder head, finger tight, then tighten the plugs to the specified torque.
Specified Torque:

18 N.m (1.8 kgf.m, 13 lbf.ft)
Install the ignition coils in the reverse order of removal.
