DTC B1155: Gauge Control Module Lost Communication With Combination Switch Control Unit (Headlight Switch Message); DTC B1156: Gauge Control Module Lost Communication With Combination Switch Control Unit (Wiper Switch Message)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
- Wait for 6 seconds or more.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1155 and/or B1156 indicated?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections. ■
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1007, B1062, and B1063 also indicated?
YES -Do the combination switch control unit input test (see COMBINATION SWITCH CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST ). ■
NO -Do the gauge control module input test (see GAUGE CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST ). ■
