Relay Control Module Input Test

NOTE:
Check the No. 22 (120 A), No. 23 (60 A), No. 15 (40 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box before testing.
- Before troubleshooting the multiplex integrated control system, do the B-CAN System Diagnosis Test mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A ).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Check the No. 7 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box.
- Remove the under-hood fuse/relay box under cover (see REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
- Disconnect under-hood fuse/relay box connector J (10P).
- Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
- If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
- If the terminals look OK, Go to step 7.
- Reconnect the connector to the under-hood fuse/relay box, and do the following input tests:
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, the relay control module must be faulty, replace the under-hood fuse/relay box (see REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
