Navigation Unit Connector B (32P)

TERMINAL VOLTAGE REFERENCE TABLE

1 WHT R SIG (Red signal) Red color signal 0.7 VAC average in RGB color diagnostic mode If open: Red color missing (see ).
If short to ground: Red color missing (see ).
2 RED G SIG (Green signal) Green color signal 0.7 VAC average in RGB color diagnostic mode If open: Green color missing (see ).
If short to ground: Green color missing (see ).
3 BRN(1) SIG SH (color signal shield) Shield for terminals No. 1, 2, 17, 18, 19 0 V If open: No change to display.
If short to ground: No change to display.
4 LT BLU AC-SI (Air conditioner serial in) Communication signal for climate control unit --- HVAC will not respond to navigation commands.
5 PNK ILL+ (Illumination positive) Parking light on signal Lights on: battery voltage, Lights off: 0 V If open: When brightness = Auto, night mode for the display is inoperative when lights on.
If short to ground: Auto, night mode for the display is inoperative when lights on.
9 BRN(1) GA-NET ECU BUS SH (Display bus shield) Shield for display bus terminals No. 10, 20 0 V If open: No change to display.
If short to ground: No change to display.
10 BLK GA-NET ECU BUS+ (Display bus positive) GA-NET display bus+ 0-5 V pulses average 2.5 V (depends on bus traffic) If open: Navigation buttons do not work.
If short to ground: Navigation buttons do not work.
17 YEL B SIG (Blue signal) Blue color signal 0.2 V AC average in RGB color diagnostic-mode If open: Blue color missing (see ).
If short to ground: Blue color missing (see ).
18 GRN C SIG (Composite signal) Composite video (vertical/horizontal) Synchronizing signal 0.2 V AC average in RGB color diagnostic-mode If open: Picture rolls horizontally, colors still visible.
If short to ground: Picture rolls horizontally, colors still visible.
19 BLK GND SIG (Color signal ground) Ground for color signal 0 V If open: No change to display.
If short to ground: No change to display.
20 ORN AC-SO (Air conditioner serial out) Communication signal for climate control unit   HVAC will not respond to navigation commands.
21 BLU AC-CLK (Air conditioner clock) Check signal for climate control unit   HVAC will not respond to navigation commands.
23 WHT JOG (Interface dial Jog) Interface dial operation signal 0-5 V pulses If open: You cannot operate navigation system
If short to ground: You cannot operate navigation system
25 BRN(1) JOG SH (Interface dial Jog shield) Shield for interface dial signal    
26 WHT GA-NET ECU BUS-(Display bus negative) GA-NET display bus- 0-5 V pulses 2.5 V average (depends on bus traffic) If open: Navigation buttons do not work.
If short to ground: Hard buttons work OK.
(1) The shielded wires have a heat-shrunk tube insulating the outside of the wire. The color of the insulating tube, typically black or dark gray, may not match the color of the wire listed on the schematic.
