Cooling System (K20C1: Type-R)

Coolant type   Use Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2, and add Honda Extreme Cold Weather Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2.NOTE:  If the vehicle is regularly driven in very low temperatures (below -22 deg.F (-30 deg.C)), a 60 % concentration of coolant should be used.
Expansion tank Coolant capacity   0.8 L (0.21 US gal) -
Expansion tank cap Opening pressure   112-146 kPa (1.14-1.49 kgf/cm 2, 16.2-21.2 psi) -
Thermostat Opening temperature Begins to open 169-176 deg.F (76-80 deg.C) -
