HOMELINK Remote Control System (2019 2020 2021)

NOTE:

1. Press any of the buttons on the HomeLink unit.

2. Disconnect the HomeLink unit 7P connector.

3. Measure the voltage between HomeLink control unit 7P connector terminals No. 1 (+) and No. 6 (-). There should be battery voltage.

4. Make sure the customer's remote transmitter (or a test remote) has fresh batteries.

5. Clear any previously learned codes by pressing and holding the two outside buttons (A) on the rearview mirror (B) until the green indicator (C) on the unit starts blinking (about 20 seconds), then release the buttons.

7. Press and release one of the three buttons (C) on the rearview mirror. The indicator (D) should blink slowly and be illuminated orange. At this time, press and hold the button on the test transmitter. If the indicator does not blink, the HomeLink unit is faulty; replace the Rearview Mirror -Removal and Installation .

8. If the indicator changes to either a solid green illumination or a rapidly blinking green illumination, then the unit is OK. Clear the learned code (see step 5). If the indicator remains slowly blinking orange, or turns off on its own after about 1 minute, please check the unit with a second garage door remote or test transmitter.
