DTC B1028 (Body Control Module): Inspection

IG1_RR_WIPER Circuit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Rear window wiper motor connector (3P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

			(Disconnected) Rear window wiper motor connector (3P) female terminals

	IG1_RR_WIPER circuit inspection	ON		12 V battery voltage[circuit type 3]

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

  If the power supply inspection of the above table showed abnormally, do the additional Power Supply Inspection , to locate the failure.

RR_WIPER_MTR, GND, PGND, PGND Circuit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Rear window wiper motor connector (3P): disconnected
  • Body control module connector A (66P): disconnected
  • Body control module connector B (66P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

			(Disconnected) Rear window wiper motor connector (3P) female terminals	(Disconnected) Body control module connector B (66P) female terminals

	RR_WIPER_MTR open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohms
	PGND open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohms
	PGND open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohms

			(Disconnected) Rear window wiper motor connector (3P) female terminals	(Disconnected) Body control module connector A (66P) female terminals

	GND open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohms
	Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
	RR_WIPER_MTR shorted to power inspection	ON			Not shorted
	RR_WIPER_MTR shorted to ground inspection	OFF			There is more than 1 MOhms

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Body Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining body control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the body control module.
