DTC B1032 (Body Control Module): Inspection

CDS Circuit Inspection 

NOTICE:  

Before disconnecting the SRS unit connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Test Procedure 

           
      (Disconnected) SRS unit connector A (43P) female terminals (Disconnected) Body control module connector B (66P) female terminals

Normal Conditions
  CDS open wire inspection  OFF There is less than 1 Ohms 
  Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
  CDS shorted to ground inspection  OFF   There is more than 1 MOhms

Body Control Module Inspection 

NOTICE:  

Before disconnecting the SRS unit connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Preconditions 

NOTE:  This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.

      (Connected) Body control module connector B (66P) female terminals

Normal Conditions
  Body control module output voltage inspection  OFF 12 V battery voltage
