CDS Circuit Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the SRS unit connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- SRS unit connector A (43P): disconnected
- Body control module connector B (66P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

Normal Conditions | ||
| CDS open wire inspection | OFF | There is less than 1 Ohms | |||

Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
Body Control Module Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the SRS unit connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.
Preconditions
NOTE: This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.
- External circuit is normal
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- SRS unit connector A (43P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the body control module.
SRS Unit Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining SRS unit is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the SRS unit.
