Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the body control module (BCM) (1) from the BCM bracket.
