Installation Procedure

  1. Position the wiper motor module support bracket to the wiper motor.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the wiper motor module support bracket screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 5.5 N.m (49 lb in).

  3. Install the wiper drive system module. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement .
  4. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
  5. Cycle the wiper drive system. Turn off the wiper drive system at the park position to ensure proper positioning of the wiper arms upon installation.
  6. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
