Timing Light:

PURPOSE/OPERATION
A specially designed strobe light used to check ignition timing. The timing light is connected to number one spark plug and flashes each time the ignition system "fires" that plug. The flash illuminates the timing mark which appears to stand still during illumination allowing for adjustment on vehicles which allow adjustment of the timing. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for connection and operation of timing light.
