Window Motor: Installation

  1. Install power window motor to window regulator and tighten mounting nuts to 78-121 INCH lbs. (9-14 N.m). Install door front channel, window regulator and window glass to regulator carrier plate. Install nuts and bolts, but DO NOT tighten at this time.
  2. If removed, install stopper catch in center of door inner panel mounting hole. Install stabilizer and mounting nuts. See Figure or Figure . Slowly tighten stabilizer mounting nuts, while simultaneously pushing door glass outward.
  3. Adjust door glass and tighten mounting bolts and nuts to 78-121 INCH lbs. (9-14 N.m). See FRONT DOOR GLASS  or REAR DOOR GLASS  under ADJUSTMENTS. To complete installation, reverse removal procedures. Check for window water and air leaks.
