Symptom Diagnosis

Symptom checks cannot be used properly unless the problem occurs while the vehicle is being tested. To reduce diagnostic time, ensure steps in BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES article and appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article were performed before diagnosing a symptom. Symptoms available for diagnosis include the following:

Hard To Start Or Will Not Start
Rough Idle Or Engine Stalls
Engine Hesitates Or Accelerates Poorly
Hard To Refuel/Overflowing Or Spit-Back While Refueling
