Measure voltage between terminal 3 of sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. 0V

Is MAF sensor voltage within the specification?
YES
- Go to COMPONENT INSPECTION procedure.
NO
- Repair short to battery in harness and go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR procedure.
