Monitor Scan Tool Data

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Disconnect IAT sensor connector.
Connect Scan Tool and monitor the "INT.AIR TEMP. SNSR(V)" parameter on the Scan Tool data list.
Specification: Approx. 5V

Is displayed IAT data within the specification?
YES:
- Possibility of sensor malfunction. Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO:
- Possibility of signal circuit short to ground. Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
