P0130 O2 Sensor Circuit (Bank 1/Sensor 1): DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  • Open in signal harness
  • Open in ground harness
  • Contact resistance in connectors
  • Faulty Heated O2 Sensor (HO2S)
Enable Conditions
  • Sensor preheating and full heating phases finished
  • Modeled exhaust gas temp, > 600°C (1112°F)
  • Lambda control active
  • No relevant failure
  • Battery voltage > 10V
Threshold Value Case 1)
  • Lambda control not active within the defined time
Case 2)
  • 0,49V > Down HO2S > 0,37V and sensor element resistance > 60 kΩ
Diagnostic Time Case 1)
  • 30 ~ 100 sec. depending on start temp.
Case 2)
  • 10 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
