General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • O2S signal interrupt by heater
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open in harness
  3. HO2S (B2/S2)
  4. ECM
Case1 Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 10.7V
  • Exhaust gas temperature (model) >700°C (1292°F)
  • O2S heater voltage >9.2V
Threshold value
  • 0.4V < Downstream O2S voltage < 0.5V
Diagnosis Time
  • 400sec
Case2 Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 10.7V
  • Time after dew point end detected > 10 sec
Threshold value
  • Counter of Δ 'Downstream O2S voltage' > 2V during 0.04sec after heater on->off > 5 times
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
