Repair Procedures: Installation

Installation the intake manifold module (A), tighten the nuts as following method.
Tightening torque:

1st step:

4.9 ~ 7.8 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.8 lb-ft)

2nd step:

19.6 ~ 26.5 N.m (2.0 ~ 2.7 kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 19.5 lb-ft)

Connect the PCV hose (A), the PCSV hose (B) and the water hoses (C) to the intake manifold module and the throttle body.

Reconnect the injector connectors (A).

Connect the variable intake system solenoid valve (VIS) connector (A) and the wiring harness protector (B).

Connect the PCSV connector (A) and the injector connectors (B).

Connect the ETC module connector (A).

Connect the fuel hose (A), the purge control solenoid valve (PCSV) hose (B) and the brake booster vacuum hose (C).

Install the air cleaner assembly (B) and air duct (A).
Tightening torque

Hose clamp bolt:

2.9 ~ 4.9 N.m (0.3 ~ 0.5 kgf.m, 2.2 ~ 3.6 lb-ft)

Air cleaner assembly bolts:

7.8 ~ 9.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2 lb-ft)

Install the engine cover (A).

Connect the battery negative terminal.
Tightening torque:

4.0 ~ 6.0 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 ~ 4.4 lb-ft)
