Monitoring DTC Status

  1. Connect GDS to "DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC)".
  2. IG Key "ON", Engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)  " with GDS.
  4. Monitor the Diagnostic Trouble Code and present of the trouble code.
  5. Erase the DTC.

  6. Is the DTC displayed again?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in "BCM" or "FRONT PARKING ASSIST SENSOR RH"'s connector or was repaired and "BCM" memory was not cleared.
    • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
