Repair procedures: Removal

IG Key "ON".
Connect the GDS in the vehicle.
To read the transfer case data in old ITA (ECU), select "ECU Data Back-up & Writing" service of GDS.

IG key "OFF".
Remove the under cover.
(Refer to "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER 3.8L or ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER 5.0L ")
Disconnect ITA (ECU) connector (A).

Release 2 screws (A).
Remove the 4WD ITA (ECU) (B).
