Component Inspection: Notes

  1. Check ECM performance.
  2. Connect probe to Generator to check signal waveform by using oscilloscope function.
  3. Turn the ignition switch "ON" and monitor signal waveform.

    Specification:  Signal waveform will be displayed as Signal Waveform & Data

  4. Is the measured signal waveform O.K?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Replace the Generator with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the Generator and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
