Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to Battery or Open in TPS2 Signal Circuit
  3. Open in TPS Ground Circuit
  4. Faulty TPS2
Enable Condition
  • Ignition Switch "ON"
Threshold Value
  • TPS2 signal voltage higher than 4.9V
  • Short circuit to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.05s
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 Driving Cycle
