1. Check continuity between terminals 2 and 3, Fig. 217.
2. With positive lead of 12 power supply connected to terminal 2 and negative lead connected to terminal 1, continuity should exist between terminals 2 and 3.
3. With positive lead of 12 power supply connected to terminal 1 and negative lead connected to terminal 2, continuity should not exist between terminals 2 and 3.
