Throttle Control Module (TCM)

On harness side measure voltage between terminals No. 10 or 20, and terminals No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 14 and 15. See Figure and Figure . See TCM PIN VOLTAGE table. If voltage is not as specified, repair wiring harness circuit or replace component as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.

Terminal No. - Circuit Condition Voltage
2 - Throttle Opening Signal Ignition On Approximately 0.3-3.3 Volts, Voltage Varies With Throttle Opening Angle
3 - Secondary Throttle Sensor Vehicle Running Approximately 0.4-4.4 Volts, Voltage Varies With Secondary Throttle Valve Opening Angle
4 - Secondary Throttle Signal Vehicle Running Approximately 0.3-3.3 Volts, Voltage Is 3/4 Of Voltage At Secondary Throttle Sensor
5 - Engine Temp. Engine Running Approximately 0-5 Volts, Sensor For TCM Voltage Varies With Engine Temperature
7 - TCS Switch Ignition On Approximately 10 Volts
14 - Throttle Motor Relay Ignition On Approximately 1.5 Volts
15 - Power Supply For Sensor Ignition On Approximately 5 Volts
