Intermittent Wiper Time Cannot Be Adjusted

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Super Multiple Joint (SMJ) connector. See Figure . Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between SMJ terminal No. 12I and ground while turning intermittent wiper switch. See Figure .
  2. Reading should be zero ohms with switch in "S" position and about one k/ohm in "L" position. If reading is correct, replace TCU. If reading is not correct, check wiring harness continuity between TCU and intermittent wiper switch.
