SERVICE INFORMATION
It is necessary to perform two procedure changes when using the UE950 Program Card. The first is a change in the Freeze Frame data screen when performing emissions diagnosis. The second change is necessary when erasing a system to enable loading of a different system into CONSULT memory. Both procedural changes are described below.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Freeze Frame Data Change When Performing Emissions Diagnosis
- During emission system diagnosis using CONSULT and the UE950 Program Card, "Freeze Frame" information for "PURG CONT/V & S/V" is incorrectly labeled when displayed and/or printed. The following table provides the corrected information.FREEZE FRAME DATA INFORMATION

- Erasing One System and Loading a Different System Into CONSULT Memory
- When using CONSULT with the UE950 Program Card and there is a need to erase a system to make more memory space available to load a new system, selecting "ENGINE" to erase will cause a error message to appear. The unit will ask to install a UE941S Program Card that does not exist. To avoid this error message from occurring, do not select "ENGINE" as the system to erase.
- To make memory space available, select any of the other systems displayed. Refer to the CONSULT system instruction change in Fig. Fig 1 . Please pay special attention to Step 4.
